Donna Heliste is the Head of English at Tarsus SEV Elementary School. Donna has taught both in the States and abroad, including more than 25 years in Turkey. During her career, she has worked with all ages of learners, from young children to adults, in many different settings, from language schools to university. Along with her own experience of learning a foreign language, as well as a Master’s degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI in TEFL/TESL, her special interest has been on vocabulary development. She brings insight into the nature of the learning, and then assessing vocabulary in the classroom.
