Sabri AĞIRMAN has been working in the field of ELT for about 20 years as an instructor and teacher trainer. He is currently a teacher trainer at the English Language Programs at Istanbul Bilgi University. He is particularly interested in teacher education and development, ESP (Legal English, Business English), vocabulary teaching, and in assessment. Also, he has conducted research on “Summative Assessment vs. Formative Assessment”, “Vocabulary Retention and Vocabulary Journal”, and “Teaching vs. Testing.” He has given various INSETs, Seminars, and Workshops in both national and international conferences, various universities and high schools as well as in other language teaching institutions such as the British Council.
